Principle Biogas is the engineering consultancy division of Marches Biogas Ltd and consists of a team of experienced designers and process engineers who have worked within the anaerobic digestion industry for many years dating back to the late 1980’s.
The team has extensive knowledge & experience of the design, build, commissioning and operation of a wide variety of digestion facilities including sewage sludge digesters, the first full scale food waste plant and design & development of a wide range of on farm facilities with outputs ranging from 25kWe to 2MWe.

A FLEXIBLE APPROACH TO EXISTING PLANT IMPROVEMENT AND DESIGN & BUILD PROJECTS
Principle Biogas offer a flexible approach to design and build projects for new plants, or extensions of existing facilities through a series of work packages and can perform all the work packages or a combination of the work packages to suit your requirements as outlined in the diagram below.

Since the completion of the original plant build in 2014, Principle Biogas has continued to support Bagley Biogas in the expansion and development of their site.
HAZOP studies were successfully undertaken for two separate sites to ensure that plant design had mitigated any risk to personnel or equipment.
Pressure Vacuum Relief Valve & Gas Holder Inspections
Marches Biogas (Principle Biogas division) has the ability to carry out the inspections of pressure vacuum relief valves and gas holders using breathing apparatus and escape sets.
Siloxane Removal System Maintenance and Media Change
Dwr Cymru Welsh Water commissioned Marches Biogas, (Principle Biogas division) to act as principal contractor and manage the system maintenance and media change of their siloxane removal systems across multiple sites.
